Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 October 2026

This page explains what happens to your data when you use valkilmer.gallery. Marcus wrote it. He keeps it short on purpose. If you want the long version, most of it sits in the server software and you will never see it.

Know what the site collects

This is a WordPress site. Like every WordPress site, it handles some data just to load a page for you. The server writes a log entry each time you request a page. That entry holds your IP address, your browser’s user agent string, the page you asked for, and the time of the request. Hosting providers keep those logs for security and troubleshooting. Nobody at this site reads them for marketing, because there is no marketing here.

If you log in, WordPress sets a cookie so the site remembers your session and your screen preferences. That cookie is functional. It does not follow you to other sites. If comments are open on a page, the site stores what you type, your name, and your IP address so it can screen spam and show your comment. If comments are closed, none of that applies.

Check the scripts before you trust the page

As of the date at the top of this page, the site loads no advertising scripts and no analytics scripts of its own. No tracking pixels. No third-party tag managers. If that changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves. You can confirm it yourself with your browser’s developer tools. Marcus checks the page source when he updates this policy.

Follow the outbound links with care

Links on this site lead to other sites. Those sites run their own privacy policies, and this site does not control them. When you click through, you leave valkilmer.gallery and the other operator’s rules apply. Read their policy before you hand over personal details. The same goes for any operator you reach through our affiliate disclosure.

Understand retention in plain terms

Server logs sit on the host’s systems for a limited period, then rotate out. Comment data stays while the comment stays published. Account data stays while your account exists. When you ask for deletion, the site removes what it can and tells you what it cannot remove, such as a log entry already aged out of the live system or a record a host is required to keep.

Use your rights

You can ask to see the personal data this site holds about you. You can ask to correct it. You can ask to delete it. These rights track Canadian privacy law under PIPEDA, and if you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the GDPR gives you similar ground. Raise a request through the contact page. Say what you want and which page or account it concerns. Marcus answers requests himself and will tell you if he needs more detail to find your record.

Keep this site for adults

This site is for adults only. In most provinces that means 18 or older. In some it means 19 or older. Check your province’s rule before you use anything linked here. If you are under the age limit, close the page.
